Body:	I have read every story and poem in Chicken Soup for the Latino Soul, and Marie Delgado-Travis' "Abolengo" is my favorite piece - but as a poet myself I am biased. In listening to the Podcast today, "Me and Don Paco" reaches me in a new way, hearing it read in such a beautiful, smooth manner. I am a part of a study group that just posed the question, "What keeps you from seeking counsel?" Ah, there are so many answers to that - much of which is pride and the belief that very few people know more than I do! But there have been a few in my life, whom I miss greatly, and I grieve along with Marie over the loss of one such as Don Paco. Friends who are wise, unselfish, loving and generous are so few, and in that way I am grateful to hear about this father figure, and how in his own passing brought the author back into a relationship with her own father. This show's that Marie too is wise - understanding the need for relationship and forgiveness. Thank you for teaching us as well. To Dr. Susan Sanchez-Casal, another wise one, thank you for doing everything it took to bring these stories into our lives. .
